The Short Ghorepani Poon Hill trek is the most brief trek in the Annapurnas. It is the most ideal route for those with less time to encounter the amazing mountain landscape and the excellent town culture of the Annapurna Region.
The trek begins an hour's drive from Pokhara, at Nayapul (New Bridge) where you traverse the hurrying Modi Khola. As we climb the winding stone way through towns and terraced farmland we get astounding looks of the lovely Machhapuchare Mountain (Fishtail).
A highlight of this trek is to see watch the dawn from Poon Hill, 3210m, a one hour move from Ghodepani, 2855m. The suns first beams touching the pinnacles of the Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, Nilgiri and different acclaimed piles of the Annapurna go, reflect in shades of red, orange and pink; a genuinely heavenly view.
From Ghorepani we slip to the delightful slope town of Ghandruk, 2012m, a run of the mill town of the Gurung ethnic gathering, known for its customary houses, rich culture and the immense scene.
From Ghandruk we dive by method for Birethanti to achieve Nayapul, where our vehicle will hold up to take us to Pokhara.
The Short Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek should be possible whenever of year with the exception of amid the storm. The whole Ghorepani territory is thickly forested with rhododendron, the national blossom of Nepal. In spring these backwoods transform into a superb cover of red blooms, and the Annapurna go gives a setting of white snow.
The most prominent seasons are spring (February to late April) and harvest time (late September to late November), however a few people favor winter, when they can appreciate the excellence of the snow, and the earth of the remote ranges without the convergence of nonnatives.
